My New Vision of America
By: Meghan Hui

My fellow citizens,
We are here today to observe the change of a great nation. A leader will leave us today, and though memories may fade, our country's loyalty and courage will never waver.
Education is an important part of the American lifestyle. We need better curriculum that would better apply to our modern lifestyle. New schools could be opened, and new teachers could be hired through specialized training programs. Classes would be straight-forward and focused. That way, students could learn quickly.
More advanced technology would help with the medical programs. We could develop more medicines to cure diseases, and provide more direct doctor training to those who need and want it. Research could be done on incurable diseases, and perhaps they would not be incurable for much longer. Hospitals could hire more workers to ease the flow of people. The system would be clean and easy- a sign of how hard we've worked.
We need to harness the environment, to make it work with us. The usage of our fossil fuels is draining the Earth. New alternative fuels could be found and used- such as sunlight, hydrogen, and wind. Recycling stations could be set up across the country, and we could save so much more energy that way.
These challenges are quickly rising, and some are already being solved. But change is coming to our nation, and I'm ready to work alongside it. So I have one question to ask- will you do it with me?
